• Half of all active users log on to Facebook every day
• More than 35 million update their status every day
• More than 5 billion pieces of content shared each week
• 70% of users are outside the US
• Over 100 million users access their Facebook page via their cell phone
• These same 100 million are twice as active as those who don’t use their cell phone to access their account
• Over 20 million people become fans of a given Page each day
• The most popular Facebook page? You might think it would be the Facebook Page itself, right? Wrong. The most popular Facebook Page is for Texas Hold ‘Em Poker with nearly 14 million fans.

It is simply staggering to consider Facebook has only been around since 2004 and was founded in a college dorm. Facebook, and Social Media as whole for that matter, is proving every day that it is anything but fad.
