Google just unveiled a Smartphone that will knock the socks off of your mobile internet.

Nexus One is Google’s smooth push for more consumer products.

It’s about as light as a Swiss army knife and uses a Qualcomm processor. The 3.7-inch, touch-screen display has deep contrasts with a color-changing track ball that changes color when you receive a message.

It has a built-in compass, a GPS, and a light sensor that helps consumers save power by adjusting to indoor and outdoor light. The camera has an LED flash accompanied by a one-click upload to YouTube. The active noise cancellation removes background noise.

There’s space on the back to custom engrave your choice of personal text. The phone also has consumer-friendly software such as Google Maps, Facebook integration and quick contacts.

You can create your own wallpaper and if you create a water background, you can tap on it to create your own ripples.

Available today, Nexus One is being sold on Google’s Web Store.
